Recommended: You have to read the first five books before you read this one. AND it's recommended (by me) that you read The Infernal Devices series first as well. As Bryn puts it, 'it enhances the experience. It's like IMAX for CoHF.'
Review: Ahhh... at long last, the highly anticipated finale to the Mortal Instruments series. May was crazy with book releases, and this was the last one that I was waiting for, since it came out near the end. Unfortunately, it came out at a really crappy time with exams and everything, and it took me SO LONG (2.5 weeks ish) to read it! To some, that doesn't seem that long, but to ME that is forever. (Side bar: I also paused to read The Archived after chapter one because I needed it done for my book club.)
Once I got past the first chapter though, I did NOT put it down. It was a fun read from the beginning to the end. My friends Emma and Bryn, along with myself filmed a book talk about our thoughts, as it was the finale to the series and all! So, instead of a typical typed review today, you get a real live video!
