1. Best Actor/ Male Protagonist
For this I chose Will Herondale from The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare. Will is so perfect, especially in Clockwork Princess. He's the dreamiest character to ever exist. Hands down. I'm catastrophically in love with him.
2. Best Actress/ Female Protagonist
100% Saba from the Dust Lands series by Moira Young. She is so kick-ass. Reading from her perspective is awesome! I love the way she makes decisions and takes action. She is always ready to defend her family and her way. She's a survivor.
The entire Pendragon series is filled with various plot twists and game changers as Bobby travels to all the different territories. The first big plot twist is in The Reality Bug, and from there the atmosphere of the entire series takes a turn. The ending of the entire series is awesome, and though it's not a total plot-twist, it's an awesome ending.
4. Best Costume Design/ Best Book Cover
This isn't the absolute best book cover I've ever seen, but The One by Kiera Cass is super pretty. The reason I picked this book though is because of the clothing and dresses that the girls wear in the novel. They're all described with real intricate detail and they're beautiful. If it WERE a movie, I think the costumes would be extravagant and luxurious.
5. Best Supporting Actor/ Best Male Sidekick
Aiden St. Delphi is a wonderful supporting male. He really loves Alex, and is super kick-ass. He a crazy good fighter and is always ready to support and fight for what's right. He handles everything well and I LOVED reading Elixir, the novella from his POV. It was awesome.
6. Best Supporting Actress/ Best Female Sidekick
Hermione Granger. She is the rock AND the glue that hold the golden trio together. As "the brightest witch of her age" she is always leading and making important and valuable decisions. As a muggle born she fully embraces her new life as a witch and works very hard to be on top. Not to mention, she is so supportive of both Harry and Ron in their various, sometimes riddikulus, shenanigans. She's not afraid to fight for what she believes in (S.P.E.W.) and she is a really great friend.
7. Best Original Screenplay/ Most Unique Plot/World
For this I desperately wanted to choose Blood Red Road by Moira Young, but I already chose Saba as the Best Female Protagonist. SO I decided to zone in on an exceptionally interesting plot device in another novel. In All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill, the time travel is awesome. I described it in my review. It was very simple, and it worked because it was so simple. Very interesting.
8. Best Adapted Screenplay/ Best Book To Movie Adaptation
Catching Fire was incredibly well done. It was almost better than the book, in the sense that you really got to see the devastation of the Capitol. When the new Peacekeepers come to District 12 and destroy the Hob, it was crazy well done. It has brought tears to my eyes every time I've watched it. The casting is also incredible. It helps that Catching Fire was my favourite book in the series.... but the movie is still awesome!
9.Best Animated Feature/ Best book that could be animated
Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke is a novel that would be really good as an animated movie. The cover illustration is very cartoon-like, as are the drawings throughout. It's a children's novel and I think it would make a great children's movie. I would watch it, that's for sure! Because of the fantastical atmosphere with the DRAGONS and the talking mice, it would make a cute movie. I think the story line would suit being animated, in the style of The Tale of Desperaux (Universal Studios)
10. Best Director/ A writer you discovered
Jennifer Armentrout. I first read the Lux series last summer. I real the first three novels in two days, I was so hooked on that story. I thought they couldn't be topped, and then came The Covenant series. Her novel are super entertaining to read, not to mention hilarious. Daemon and Alex were awesome, I loved how sarcastic and witty they both were. (NOT A REPEAT because this is the AUTHOR and Aiden is a CHARACTER)
11. Best Visual Effects/ Best Action in a Book
I re-read the Lightning Thief last week and I forgot the amount of crap that goes down in those novels. Percy can't go five minutes without running into a monster or some kind of danger. The whole series is action packed, and crazy fast paced.
12. Best Musical Score/ Best Music in a book to movie adaptation
I'm about to be super real for a minute. The soundtrack to the Fault in Our Stars is awesome. There were a lot of artists on there that I was fans of before (Ed Sheeran, STRFKR, Birdy, M83) so I was excited about that. But honestly, everything on that soundtrack is awesome.
13. Best Short Film/ Novella or Short Novel
Esio Trot by Roald Dahl is one of the shortest books I have on my shelf, and I honestly love it. I've read it so many times, and I still smile every time. It's so cute.
14. Best Picture/ Best Stand Alone
Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan is one of my favourite books I've ever read. I loved it so much, and I can't say enough amazing things about it.
15. Best Documentary/ Best Historical Fiction or Non-Fiction
And finally, the last category. Hands down the best non-fiction novel that I've ever read is Without You by Anthony Rapp. I had to read a non-fiction for a school project and it was the best decision I ever made. I'm a huge fan of Rent the musical, and, if it's possible, this book made me an even bigger fan. My appreciation for Jonathan Larson deepened, as well as my respect for Anthony Rapp. I loved the way he writes.

WOW that was a long show. Luckily, there were no commercial breaks, and I pronounced everyone's names correctly (maybe)... Anyways, thanks for reading, I hope that was fun because it was fun to write! I hope to do more Book Tags soon, so if there are any you'd like to see, leave me a comment!
