Halloween HandBOOK: Luna Lovegood Costume Tutorial

"Don't worry, you're just as sane as I am."

For today's final post for Halloween HandBOOK (a day late because my internet is insanely slow) I have prepared some costume inspiration for Luna Lovegood from the Harry Potter series.

AUGUST READING WRAP-UP: Videos+ Mini Reviews

Hello friends! Today I am going to be discussing all of the books that I read in August. It's only a few days into the month of September, so I am not too far behind schedule at all! Besides, I read until the very last day of August, and I wanted to make sure I included everything that I read.

COOL COLLABS - ORIGINAL BOOK TAG

HELLO FELLOW READERS

Today I am bringing you something kind of CRAZY and new and exciting for me.... AN ORIGINAL TAG.

When I was struggling to find a tag for this week, I just thought "why not create my own????" SO a while later I had some questions ready for filming! I totally catered some of the questions to books that I wanted to talk about, but, hey, it's MY prerogative because it's my tag! (*Britney Spears plays faintly in the background*)

Weekend Wrap-Up-AWESOME AUGUST WEEK TWO

Oh my gods, Awesome August week two is over now too and I still don't know how I did it.

Week two's theme was Sensational Stand Alones! This week's goal was to talk about some awesome books that manage to be great within a limited number of pages. Here are some links to all of this week's posts:

MY TOP 15 STAND ALONE BOOKS- AWESOME AUGUST WEEK TWO

HELLO! Today for Awesome August I am bringing to you my Top 15 Stand Alone Books! As a book lover, and I'm sure you can relate, it is IMPOSSIBLE to pick favourites. However, these are most certainly the best stand alone books that I have ever read.

Weekend Wrap-Up: AWESOME AUGUST WEEK ONE

HELLO! Awesome August Week One has come to a close, and I am here to present the wrap-up for this week.

The theme for this week was Fantastic Fictitious Firsts! This was to promote some awesome first books! Here are links to all the posts I made:

My First Time (In BOOKS) - TAG: AWESOME AUGUST WEEK ONE

HELLO lovely readers! Today for Awesome August, I bring to you the 'My First Time (In BOOKS) TAG!' This tag was created by Divya Reads on YouTube, and I'm definitely considering myself tagged by her, because she said I could! The questions for this Tag (which will be listed down below) are all related to firsts in every book reader's life. I thought this went along nicely with the theme of the week, and without further ado, here is my video!

BOOKTUBE-A-THON 2014: WRAP UP + VIDEO!

HELLO LOVELY READERS! BookTube-a-Thon 2014 has come to a close, and I had so much fun!  It was a crazy week, and I stayed up WAY to late, but it was all for the love of reading. I was able to complete lots of the challenges, and I read lots of great books. The video challenges that each host picked out were really fun, and even though I only did one, I had a great time doing it. I participated in lots of the twitter sprints (mostly the late night ones) and those really helped me finish my books! Speaking of the books I read, lets see what they were, shall we?

UPDATE: JULY 21, 2014

HELLO LOVELY PEOPLE! I am back after a long and glorious Booktube-a-thon! It was so much fun and I am so happy that I participated! I am currently preparing and writing a blog post for my wrap-up, and that will be out later this week, hopefully tomorrow.

BOOKTUBE-A-THON DAY 3: DANCING THE PAGES AWAY

YAY BOOKTUBE A THON DAY THREE, MY FRIENDS. WE HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR!!!!

My TBR all nice and stacked all pretty

HELLO fellow readers today I'm just going to do a quick little update post on what's been happening with my booktube-a-thon so far! It's been really really fun, and I'm so glad I am participating again!

As of right now, I have read a grand total of.....

BOOKTUBE-A-THON 2014: TBR

BOOKTUBE-A-THON 2014

YES my friends, it is THAT time of the year again..... BOOKTUBE-A-THON!!!

Though I am not really a BookTuber (I've only posted one video to date), I REALLY like BookTube-A-Thon! I think that the whole idea of a week-long book reading marathon is SO fun, and naturally, I want to participate!

City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare

5/5 stars on Goodreads.

Recommended: You have to read the first five books before you read this one. AND it's recommended (by me) that you read The Infernal Devices series first as well. As Bryn puts it, 'it enhances the experience. It's like IMAX for CoHF.'

Review: Ahhh... at long last, the highly anticipated finale to the Mortal Instruments series. May was crazy with book releases, and this was the last one that I was waiting for, since it came out near the end. Unfortunately, it came out at a really crappy time with exams and everything, and it took me SO LONG (2.5 weeks ish) to read it! To some, that doesn't seem that long, but to ME that is forever. (Side bar: I also paused to read The Archived after chapter one because I needed it done for my book club.)
