Review:  If you ask me to describe Will Grayson, Will Grayson to you, (from here on to be referred to as WGx2 because that is so much simpler) I seriously struggle. Over the past few months though, I’ve been managing to simply say:

“It’s told from the perspective of two different guys named Will Grayson. Alternating chapters for each Will, one written by John Green, and the next by David Levithan. Then they meet. That’s all I’m going to tell you.”

Recommended: Highly recommended! If you are a Fangirl, then this is obviously the novel for you. Great characters and heartwarming story. 

Review: 

You probably won’t be able to find a bigger Simon Snow fan than Cath. You can try, but her massive following on her Fanfiction, Carry On, Simon, will probably beg to differ. Cath just gets the characters. College, not so much. It doesn’t help that her roommate of forever, her ‘built-in best friend’ always there twin sister, Wren, decided that she wanted a change this year and is rooming with someone else. She’s left feeling completely alone in a brand new environment, with a new roommate, and her new roommate’s ever present boyfriend. The only constant in Cath’s life is Simon, but when her favourite professor disses fanfiction, Cath isn’t even sure she can count on Simon anymore.

Psychics and prep school boys. Did that peak your interest?
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater was an intriguing novel right from the start. The first couple of pages had me hooked right away, and once I started, I couldn’t put it down. Granted, that happens a lot when you’re not doing anything on summer break, BUT that doesn’t take away from how good this novel was at all.

Unearthly Series by Cynthia Hand

Recommended: If you like angels, this is a great angel story.... without sounding incredibly obvious.

Review:

I read this series in a really weird way. I read Unearthly nearly two years ago, and I just finished Boundless last week. I read this entire series over the span of two years, and I still enjoyed it all the same. Normally, a series loses me if I have to wait too long to read the next book, but this series didn't.

I originally had borrowed Blood Red Road from my friend who had it sitting out on her side table forever. She had never read it, and I was curious enough. So, I borrowed it, and in my book club we decided that it would be our BOTM. I'd never heard anybody talk about it before, and I had never heard of Moira Young. We decided that it would be an adventure to read a novel completely unknown to us for our first book club book. Once we read it, we were very glad that we indulged.

The Archived by Victoria Schwab is a story about a girl named Mackenzie, who moves into this old hotel with her parents. The Conronado hotel is ridiculously old, and is falling apart, but Kenzie's mom has decided to make the run down coffee shop in the lobby her newest 'project'. And we can't blame her for chasing pipe dreams. Kenzie's little brother, Ben, was killed recently by a hit and run driver, and her mother hasn't been the same since.
